Since 2012, we have worked with many sports people from weekend warriors, to top-level professional athletes.

When it comes to sports-specific strength and conditioning, it's crucial that we treat it on a case by case and sport by sport basis - cookie-cutter programs will only get you so far.

First we assess the athlete, look at how they move mechanically.

We then Identify where the imbalances are, including where there is tightness, weakness or dominance.

From there, we consult with the athlete to go through history, experience, previous injury history and of course what specific areas they want to develop further.

If there are any existing injuries, we address them first.

Once we've gone through the discovery phase, we develop detailed strategies on what training methods, exercises, stretches and activation drills they need to start making progress based on their unique goals and objectives.

Then we coach the athlete on improving technique, as well as develop better, more efficient movement patterns and coordination in a 1-on-1 personal training setting.

As the athletes performance increases - we test and measure frequently, to assess where there have been improvements, what changes we need to make and progress them through to more challenging programs so they can keep reaching new heights.

Throughout our progress we review their current nutrition and advise on suggestions and improvements they can make to have more energy, strength or power, as well as repairing and recovering better and performing at their true potential.

Pauline came in as a very keen golfer who practiced and played multiple times per week. When I first started at Evolve, I was looking to increase my bowling speed and endurance during a game. I was able to develop a more explosive drop step at the crease with the training at Evolve, doing short explosive drills and also gained a higher jump in my stride with a lot of box jumps and various leg training. This helped me improve my bowl speed from 110km/h to 119km/h, which is a massive improvement. My run up is a lot smoother now too. All of the sprint work and short burst drills was key to developing my athleticism and my overall fitness levels. I can run a 12.3 in a beep test and squat 85kg for 10 reps.
